As a privately owned mining company we follow the philosophy: working with our environment - not against the environment - with the people, with our customers, suppliers, employees and neighbours, in mutual respect and adherence to ethical principles, for a sustainable long term and successful business.
Quality policy
Raw Material
- As a mineral extracting company, we thrive on the mountain and live with the mountain (of nature and with nature).
- Mining always has the element of finality -incidentally, every human life has- and therefore responsibility towards future generations must take place.
- When dealing with natural resources the following is crucial:
- Respectful and gentle handling of nature
- Extraction of raw materials without ruthless exploitation
- Working with the highest possible utilization of the mined materials
- Avoidance of unnecessary waste
- Restoration of natural and orderly conditions, backfilling of underground construction, recultivation of open pit mines
- Use of raw materials for meaningful products
Products
Our goal is to produce close-to-nature products, which in turn serve nature and the natural needs of the people.
- Feed for pets and farm animals – pure and mineral-rich, with high activity (availability of mineral) for the animals.
- Natural and mineral fertilizers for agriculture and forestry, in particular against acidic soils and forest decline.
- Clearing and recycling of wood pulp or the waters used for pulp production. Neutralization of wastewater in sewage treatment plants.
- Production of semi-natural, environmentally friendly, harmless and hypoallergenic materials, which also have a high fire resistance, which are especially useful in refurbishing old buildings, as fillings in ceilings, walls and floors.
- Nature-like flooring in workspaces, offices and apartments – allergy friendly with no fumes, mineral-bound, possibly with the addition of wood.
- Manufacturing of grinding stones for polishing of natural stones, especially marble and granite
- Making of Sorel cement mixtures to stabilize the backfilling of underground salt mines
- Gulsenit, silica from magnesia processing, which is used in the range of biocatalysts and as a beverage stabilizer
- Magnesiumcarbonate to stabilize and extend the life of refractory lining of furnaces and converters in the steel industry.
Our goal is the sensible and sustainable use of our natural products - keeping with the motto: “What we have taken from nature shall give back to nature”. Therefore, we want to provide people with responsible, high quality, meaningful and environmentally friendly products.
People
- Customer
The customer is king with us, but not in the sense of blind obedience to meet the customer requirements. Rather it is about recognizing the real needs of the customer regarding our services and products. Therefore, we try to question the demands of our customers to fully satisfy them. To this end we are not only working on our continuous improvement and expansion of our product range, but we also seek to deepen our relationship and gain the trust of our customers. Credibility and reliability are our top priority.
- Suppliers
We do our best to choose our suppliers carefully and thus try to ensure that they are in broad agreement with our company’s philosophy. A good price for a good service is common sense. Only under these requirements can we guarantee quality and reliability.
- Employees
The respectful conduct with our employees is a substantial source of our success.
The formulated business philosophy is communicated well among the employees, as they are crucial in bringing it to life.
The motivation of the employees for the enterprise stands in the first place.
An important requirement for this is the fair treatment and an appropriate remuneration of the performance of the employees but also the demarcation of defeatism, irresponsibility, idleness and unreliability.
The management is not only obliged to formulate a company’s philosophy, but it must also live accordingly.
